• Bobby Ford - Lead Vocals

When Bobby was growing up he never had any influence or inclination toward pursuing music.

At an early age the only thing that Bobby had to do with music was singing in a church choir with no idea he had more of a voice than he previously thought. It wasnt until he was 16 being dared to enter in his first talent show that he would discover an affinity for singing by winning the show singing acapella. From his Country upbringing in Jefferson County, MO it was a no brainer that he would pursue Country Music as it was the genre that spoke to him most. He moved to Nashville at the age of 21 and chased his dream until he decided to come back and help out back home due to family emergency and thus the pursuit of his dreams continued in the city of St. Louis, MO. Bobby and his band have been creating a buzz around their city of St. Louis and have opened for many National acts such as Jon Langston, Dylan Scott, Parmalee, Eli Young Band, Morgan Evans, Chris Janson, Drake White, Fillmore, Broseph,Tim Duggar, Billy Currington, Drew Baldrige, Nelly and many more.

  • Chris Konya - Guitar

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. At a young age, I was fortunate enough to follow my father around the local circuit as his roadie. The lessons I learned throughout those years were invaluable, but one thing was certain, music would quickly become a constant in my life.

In the coming years, my main focus was to learn how to play the guitar and ultimately start a band. Fortunately, both of those things happened, and I played my first live show in Junior High School. I was hooked. From that point on, music would lead me down numerous different paths and open many doors.

After a quick stint in Nashville working for a record label, I found myself back in St. Louis looking for like minded musicians. Shortly thereafter, I met Bobby Ford.

Playing with this group has been nothing short of a whirlwind. Sharing the stage with national touring acts like Nelly, Tim Dugger, Billy Currington, Parmalee, Morgan Evans, and Jon Langston has been an unforgettable experience.

My journey has been long, sometimes easy, sometimes difficult, but always a great time. The band we have now are not only some of the best musicians around, but guys I will have as friends for life.

  • Steve McNicol - Bass

Many events and influences have brought Steve McNicol’s groove playing to where it is today. Steve’s first exposure to musical instruments was piano at age 5. This was followed by an attempt at trumpet some years later. When he was 17, Steve picked up a bass guitar. He’d finally found an instrument that he enjoyed so much that no one needed to remind him to practice. His love of bass guitar and desire to improve has never diminished and continues 47 years later. Steve loves most all genres of music and has played most all of them over his career. He even played classic rock before it was classic!

Steve’s earliest musical influences included the likes of Bill Haley and his Comets, Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass and Johnny Cash. Later on add Chicago, Hendrix, Albert King, SRV, Tower of Power and the Eagles. Some of his individual favorites that have had an influence are James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius and Donald “Duck” Dunn.

Over the course of his career, Steve has played in many cover and original bands, stateside and abroad, He has shared the stage, or played along side of the following artists: Joan Jett, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Ron Thompson, Eli Young and Chris Jansen, just to name a few.

Steve thoroughly enjoys the give and take experienced while interacting with an audience, and is thankful for the opportunity to do just that!

  • Connor Coffey - Violin

Midwestern raised violinist Connor Coffey’s first induction into music was through classical composers. Studying classical music at the age of 6 years old, Connor quickly fell in love with the solo violin concertos of Mozart, Tchaikovsky, as well as the solo violin compositions of Bach. Taking inspiration from world class soloists Itzhak Perlman, Hilary Hahn, and Augustin Hadelich, Connor continued his pedagogy with one on one instructors from the St Louis Symphony, chamber music with renowned Arianna String Quartet violinist John McGrosso, the Webster University community music school, and the St Charles County Youth Orchestra lead by W.S. Williams. Around 17 years old, a chance encounter occurred which would change his musical course forever. Grammy winning fiddler Mark O’Connor appeared for a clinic and performance of his “Fiddle Concerto” with the orchestra. After hearing the violin morph into the “fiddle”, Connor knew he had to take his performance ability to a different direction.

Seeking lessons from local country music notable Tim Woest, Connor soon became ambidextrous in both classical technical ability and music theory & improvisation. Taking inspiration from Mark O’Connor, Darol Anger, and Michael Cleveland, he propelled himself into the art of fiddling beyond just country and bluegrass. Using his newfound skill, Connor dove deep into a variety of musical ensembles ranging from country, worship, bluegrass, jazz, and rock.

His musical versatility led him to share the stage with Grammy winning bluegrass legend Sam Bush, El Monstero, Alexandra Kay, Kari Jobe, and performing with opening acts for Morgan Evans, Eric Paslay, and The Eli Young Band just to name a few.

  • Gabe Pecher - Percussion

Raised in a musical family Gabe Pecher quickly found his way to playing percussion in the school band and even quicker to starting a band with his older brother. His love for punk rock and heavy metal in high school put him on the stage opening for national acts like Motley Crue, Static-X, Vanilla Ice as well as plenty of studio time releasing 2 albums before his twenty first birthday.

After a 9 year hiatus Gabe returned to music playing with his long time friends starting what was supposed to be a fun side project but turned into a full time band releasing two full length records as well as two E.P.s. Touring was not supposed to be a high priority of the band but with the success of the band opening for larger acts such as Teenage Bottle Rocket, Masked Intruder and The Bombpops they ventured out playing the smallest of basement shows to the Whisky a go go.

Wanting to expand his knowledge of music he accepted the role of playing drums for the Bobby Ford Band. Not always an easy road of learning a new style of playing his past experiences touring and in recording studios helped pave his way.
